Beverly Hills is a residential community
surrounded by the city of Los Angeles, it is known for the
luxurious homes of film and television personalities and contains
many fashionable shops. 'Rodeo Drive,' one of the greatest
shopping meccas in the world, is located in Beverly Hills.
Originally part of a Spanish land grant,
the site was called El Rancho Rodeo de Las Aguas until 1906,
when the community was laid out and renamed.
Beverly Hills is an affluent neighborhood
that offers an array of fine restaurants, luxurious hotels,
famous art galleries, and a repertoire of world renowned shops
and boutiques.
The attractions here are second to none.
For the movie buff there are many sights and activities in
Hollywood close by. If the ocean is where you want to be,
there are also several beaches minutes away. The history buff
will find museums, art, and culture to fill up your days and
